1. Introduction & "Real Rules" Overview

Welcome to Bible Focus ("we," "our," or "us"). By downloading or using our app, you agree to these terms.

We want to be transparent about how this works. This app is designed to help you focus through a gamified timer and virtual garden environment. Because of this, our terms focus heavily on two things: safety (don't use the timer when you need to pay attention to the world) and virtual assets (your digital garden is for fun, not profit).

If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the app.

2. Your Safety (The Critical Rule)

Do not use this app while driving, operating heavy machinery, or performing any task that requires your full attention.

The Rule: The "Focus Timer" feature is intended for stationary, safe environments (like a desk, study room, or library).

Liability: We are not responsible for any accidents, injuries, or damages that occur because you chose to use the app in an unsafe situation. You are solely responsible for your surroundings.

3. Gamification & Virtual Assets (The Garden)

Bible Focus includes a virtual "Garden" system where you can earn, grow, or unlock items like seeds, plants, or decorative assets ("Virtual Goods") by using the focus timer or completing tasks.

No Real-World Value: Virtual Goods have no monetary value. They cannot be exchanged for real money, goods, or services from us or anyone else.

License, Not Ownership: You do not "own" the digital plants, seeds, or garden assets. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-transferable license to use them within the app for entertainment.

Balancing Changes: We reserve the right to change the "game rules" at any time to balance the experience. This means we might change how long it takes to grow a plant, how much water it costs, or the visual appearance of assets without notice or compensation.

Data Loss: If your account is terminated or if you delete the app without a cloud backup, your Virtual Goods may be permanently lost. We are not liable for this loss.

4. Subscriptions & Payments

If you choose to purchase a "Pro" or "Premium" subscription to unlock extra garden features, stats, or assets, the following Apple-mandated terms apply:

Payment: Payment will be charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Auto-Renewal: Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

Renewal Cost: Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same price and duration as your original package.

Management: You can manage your subscriptions and turn off auto-renewal by going to your App Store Account Settings after purchase.

No Refunds: We do not handle refunds directly. All refund requests must be managed through Apple's problem reporting system.

5. User Conduct

To keep the ecosystem fair for everyone, you agree NOT to:

• Cheat or Hack: Use automation software, bots, hacks, or mods to artificially increase your focus time, "farm" garden assets, or falsify leaderboard stats.
• Reverse Engineer: Attempt to decompile or extract source code or assets from the app.
• Harass: If the app has social features (like visiting other gardens), you will not post offensive content or harass other users.

Consequence: We reserve the right to ban your account and revoke access to all Virtual Goods immediately if you violate these rules.

6. Intellectual Property

Our Stuff: The code, graphics, garden art, sound effects, and "look and feel" of Bible Focus are owned by us and are protected by copyright laws.

Your Stuff: If you upload a profile picture or username, you grant us a license to display it within the app (e.g., on a leaderboard).

7. Disclaimers & Limitation of Liability

"As Is" Basis: The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee the app will be error-free or that your garden data will never be lost due to a server glitch.

Not Professional Advice: This is a productivity tool. While we encourage focus and spiritual growth, this app is not a replacement for professional medical or psychological advice.

Limitation: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

8. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, excluding its conflicts of law rules.
